Adding an Instructor

Note: all staff, instructors, and volunteers must be entered in the database in order to add them to learning opportunities or to add time sheets. This can be done on the Instructors page of the database. To set up a new instructor:

Select Instructors from the database menu

DB Menu - Instructors

Click *New Instructor at the top of the page

Add Instructorn Button

Complete the form

Add Instructor Details

 

Upload an image if you like (i.e. you may want to flag all Board members with the same image for easy identification)

 

 

Enter their first name

Enter their last name

Enter the organization (i.e. CALP Board)

Enter the date they joined the organization (for staff/volunteer recognition)

 

Add Instructor Details

Enter address details if you need them (this is not required information)

 

 

 

Enter their contact email and/or main phone number

 

 

Enter any notes about communication preferences

 

Add More Instructor DetailsLeave the Paid? toggle off (No) for volunteers

Enter the rate of pay if this person is in a paid instructor/tutor/staff position

 

Enter gender identity (this field is helpful when pairing tutors with learners but is not required)

 

If this person is a tutor/instructor, enter their preferred subject areas

Enter preferred meeting days/times if there are any

 

Click the toggle button if they are willing to travel

Important: click the Active button to turn the record on


Enter any helpful comments

Click Submit
