Refunds

Occasionally, a learner may need to cancel their registration. If it is your organization's policy, you may choose to refund their course fee.

To issue a refund:

Select Registrations from the database menu

Registrations in DB Menu

Click the All text fields dropdown arrow and select Learner

Select Learner from Dropdown

Type the learner's name in the search box and select it when it pops up

Click Search

Search Button

Click the 3 dots to the right of the learner's record

3 Dots...Edit UPDATED

Select Edit

3 Dots - Edit

Scroll down the page and change Status to Refunded

Status Refunded

Click Submit

Submit Button

The database generates a new invoice that shows no payments received

Invoice: No payments received

Select Registrations from the database menu

Registrations in DB Menu

Search for the learner as above

Their registration status is updated to Refunded

Status: Refunded

The learner no longer appears on the class list for that offering
